I’ve messed around with my Choc. Chip cookie recipes for years… I’ve been sticking to this…  You can use chocolate chip, chunks or M&M’s with this dough:

1/2 Cup butter softened
1/2 Cup Crisco
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
Mix together… then add:
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Then add:
3 Cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix then add:
2 Cups Choc chunks, chips or M&M’s

Use a 1 inch scoop to ball up your cookies

Here’s one more trick I use… I always place my cookie sheet in the over to warm up before I stick my 1st batch on it.

Bake 350 for about 9 mins.
Makes about 4-5 dozen.
