Spiced Carrot Cake

This is so super easy, light and fluffy… you can’t go wrong!

Here is what you will need:

Pre-heat oven to 350
2 Cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 cups sugar
1 cup veg. oil
4 eggs
5 large carrots peeled and shredded

Mix the sugar and oil together

Combine all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl

Add your dry to your wet mix

Shred your carrots... I like to  use the small holes

Add your carrots... give it a quick mix... don't over do it!  You can even use the good ole wooden spoon and fold them in!

Add your mix to a prepared greased pan ( I like to use a metal one... but my girlfriend borrowed it from me) So I pulled out the stone wear... it usually takes a few extra mins in the oven!

Give it a quick lil couple taps to get any bubbles out.  Bake at 350... Metal pans about 45-50 mins Stone 55-60 mins

Pull it out of the oven and let cool about 15 mins
